Description

Natali - Rubicone IGT Rosato di Sangiovese 2020

The 2020 growing season in the Romagna–Toscana hills was balanced, with early warmth and stable summer conditions ensuring uniform ripening. The wine carries the purity and mineral tension of the UNESCO-listed Vena del Gesso gypsum ridge.

Natali comes from a special vineyard parcel where larger Sangiovese berries offer the ideal ratio for rosé. The grapes are night-harvested, about 10 days earlier than those for Victores, to preserve acidity and aromatic freshness. Following a white-winemaking process, the fruit is gently pressed and vinified at low temperature, allowing natural aroma and color extraction without chemicals.

Harvested on September 1st, the wine was fermented without skins, matured 10 months in stainless steel, then refined in bottle.

Natali 2020 shows a coral-pink hue with radiant transparency and crystalline brightness. The bouquet blends wild strawberry, pomegranate, raspberry, and delicate powdery-spicy notes, lifted by a hint of hibiscus.

On the palate, it is fresh, vibrant, and succulent, with a fruit-driven core, vivid acidity, and a long, harmonious finish. The balance between acidity and softness brings refinement and precision.

A versatile, gastronomic rosé, Natali 2020 unites freshness, balance, and personality — a luminous expression of Sangiovese.

*** At Divinalux, we use only a refined touch of sulfites—just enough to protect the wine as it ages, without overshadowing its purity. While sulfites may be more noticeable in wine than in food due to the presence of alcohol, they remain discreet for most consumers. Our philosophy is simple: minimal intervention, maximum elegance.

*** In 2017, our Estate received official Organic Certification for all agricultural activities, including the production of wine, olive oil, and other farm products. Although 2017 marks the first year of certified organic status, the Estate had been in conversion since 2013, and even prior to that it was cultivated in accordance with the organic requirements of the Regional Park regulations. As a result, all our wines have been produced according to organic standards for many years; however, from the 2017 vintage onward, we are officially authorized to display the Organic Production Symbol on all our labels.
