Description
Natali - Rubicone IGT Rosato di Sangiovese 2018
The 2018 season in the hills between Romagna and Toscana unfolded gently, with a cool start, timely spring rains, and a warm, stable summer that enabled balanced ripening. The wine reflects the purity and mineral tension of the crystalline gypsum soils of the UNESCO-listed Vena del Gesso ridge.
Natali is produced from a specific vineyard parcel where Sangiovese berries grow larger, offering the ideal skin-to-pulp ratio for rosé wines. These grapes are harvested at night, at least 10 days earlier than those used for our red Sangiovese, Victores, to preserve acidity and aromatic freshness.
Following the white-winemaking method, the grapes are gently pressed and vinified at low temperature, with a long, slow fermentation that preserves aroma and color naturally, without chemical intervention.
Harvested on September 3rd, the wine was fermented without skins and matured 11 months in stainless steel, then refined further in bottle.
Natali 2018 presents a pale onion-skin hue, light yet vibrant. The nose is delicate yet deep, offering evolved fruit, undergrowth, root, and fine spice with subtle mossy notes. On the palate, it is fresh, fragrant, and dynamic, supported by vivid acidity and balanced softness, leading to elegant persistence.
A coherent and expressive Natali, ideal at the table, uniting delicacy, structure, and aromatic depth with bright, inviting freshness.

*** At Divinalux, we use only a refined touch of sulfites—just enough to protect the wine as it ages, without overshadowing its purity. While sulfites may be more noticeable in wine than in food due to the presence of alcohol, they remain discreet for most consumers. Our philosophy is simple: minimal intervention, maximum elegance.
*** In 2017, our Estate received official Organic Certification for all agricultural activities, including the production of wine, olive oil, and other farm products. Although 2017 marks the first year of certified organic status, the Estate had been in conversion since 2013, and even prior to that it was cultivated in accordance with the organic requirements of the Regional Park regulations. As a result, all our wines have been produced according to organic standards for many years; however, from the 2017 vintage onward, we are officially authorized to display the Organic Production Symbol on all our labels.
